The 24th APAN meeting, The 9th APNG Camp, Digital Archive Workshop 에 참석하기 위해 어제 시안에 왔습니다.
무개념하게 아무것도 준비하지 않고 덜렁 중국에 왔는데, 다행히도 아는 교수님과 인천공항에서 만나게 되어 밥 잘 먹고, 잘 구경 다니고 있습니다. 이틀 지내보니, 다른곳은 몰라도 중국엔 저처럼 무개념하게 아무것도 준비하지 않고 오면 큰일날 것 같네요.
어제 시안에 도착한 후, 서안 성벽을 구경하였고, 오늘은 화청지(華淸池)와 병마용갱(兵马俑坑)을 다녀왔습니다. 시안은 빛나가 표현했던 것 처럼, 과거와 현재가 공존하는 아주 멋진도시입니다. 어제 오늘 갔던 곳에 대한 자세한 이야기는 나중에 하기로 하고, 우선 내일부터 제가 참석하는 컨퍼런스의 세션에 관한 이야기를 하도록 하겠습니다. ^^

작년 2월과 11월에 서울에서 개최되었던 Digital Archive Workshop이, 올해엔 APAN/APNG와 함께 중국의 Xian에서 개최됩니다. 저는 APNG와 함께, 이 컨퍼런스에도 참석할 예정입니다.

지난 3월 8th APNG Camp 에 펭도와 함께 준비하고 있는"The Universal Web Access : Using the web standards" 라는 제목을 가진 발표문 초안을 제출하였습니다. 지난 4월 사무국에서 발표문 초안이 채택되어 fellowship support(항공료, 숙박비, 기타 체제비)를 지원받고 참가하게 되었습니다.
8th APNG Camp는 7월 18일부터 20일까지 싱가폴의 NUS에서 22th APAN Meeting과 함께 개최됩니다.
